HVAF of Indiana, Inc. co-hosted the Circle City Veteran hiring event with the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs on February 20, 2020.

This event hosted over 25 employers for veterans and their families to meet from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

“This was a great opportunity for veterans to meet with employers who want to specifically work with those who have served in the armed forces,” said Kiara Walker, Employment Coordinator, “There are thousands of potential jobs available for our Hoosier heroes.”

The hiring event was located at the new IDVA Veterans Center located at 777 North Meridian Street. Parking was free at the Indianapolis Central Library garage through ticket validations. Food Trucks were onsite for refreshments.

Veterans who attended came prepared with their resumes and dressed to impress.
